Five ingredients to make this healthy Detox Smoothie.
- Coconut water or tap/bottled water
It’s a very cleansing smoothie! You can add chia seeds, , flax seeds, hemp seeds protein powder,( vegan or whey )I love smoothies because you can always mix things up and change the ingredients to what you like and to what your body needs.
How to Make Detox Smoothie
I recommend using a high-powered blender to make your smoothie.
If you don’t have a super powerful blender, that is ok. Just make sure you peel the apple before adding it to the blender. If you have a high powered blender, you won’t need to peel the apple.
Making the Detox Smoothie:
- Combine all of the ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
We like to drink our smoothies with ice you can either blend this up with the smoothie or add afterwards.
This is a healthy smoothie you can have anytime of the day. I like to start my morning with a green Detox smoothie, but it is also great after a workout, for a snack, or even for a meal when your body just needs something delicious!
